The swimming season is divided into two seasons – short course and long course events, short course events are held in a 25m pool and run from May to October (inside, in Winter), the long course season runs from October – April (outside, for Summer).

The club also provides an opportunity for you and your child to participate in regular Time Trials events which are published on the Calendar

Swimit provide exclusive coaching services for Riverside and are led by Sandra Crabtree & David Anderson for further information on the coaching sessions & times please visit Coaching

Throughout the year the club holds various social events, information regarding these events will be shared with you via email.

We have various club merchandise: caps, shirts, jumper, bathers, towels and other merchandise.

Please use your family name as your reference and include the item you are paying for. Please note Riverside bank details are different from Swimit.

The club is always eager to welcome new members into our ranks and we look forward to seeing you in the water soon.

The Riverside Swimming Club Committee is always keen to accept volunteer helpers – without volunteers your club would become an expensive exercise, so please offer from time to time – you’ll likely meet one of the other parents in just the same boat as you! Most jobs require no technical expertise, experience or training – and many of the jobs make the time pass just that little bit quicker!
