All new swimmers are invited to come and trial with 3 free sessions before joining the squad.

Swimit provides exclusive coaching services for Riverside Swimming Club at Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre (Inglewood pool). The squad’s aim is to improve swimming fitness and technique whilst providing a relaxed introduction to club and competitive swimming. Swimmers who can comfortably swim 50 – 100 metres of Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke are welcome to come along and try 3 free sessions before joining.

Note while Terry Tyzack is being renovated, the squad trains at Balga and Bayswater – times available by contacting the club.

David Anderson, Harry Broun, Leah Trenaman and Sandra Crabtree make up our dedicated bunch or coaches committed to the smooth running and continual improvement the squad. The team of 4, now working as Swimit, includes 3 who competed for Riverside in their youthful competition years! Working together and combining experiences from all walks of life our coaches are there to help each swimmer achieve their individual goals and reach their potential.

Sandra Crabtree

Swimit Director – Head Coach – Programming Coach

Sandy founded Swimit in 2010 to provide Riverside with a stable coaching structure. As a swimmer Sandy competed for Riverside and represented WA and Australia in Royal Life Saving. Aside from coaching Sandy is a medical scientist.

David Anderson

Head Coach – Programming Coach

After a hiatus from swimming coaching some years ago, Dave re-joined the Riverside team. Dave’s extensive coaching experience and strategic vision is utilised to further develop our senior and competitive athletes.

Leah Trenaman

Coaching: Intro, Green, Bronze, Silver, Power Hour.

Leah has been a long time member of the Riverside squad as a swimmer, and has now joined the coaching team.
